What to Do With Your Hands While Kissing

Hands can make a kiss feel more connected, but they should never race ahead of the level of intimacy both people want.

Easy places to start

A shoulder, upper arm, hand, face or—when welcome—waist can feel natural. Keep the touch relaxed rather than gripping.

Follow feedback

If the other person moves closer or reciprocates, that is useful feedback. If they tense, move away or redirect your hand, adjust immediately.

You do not have to keep moving

Stillness can feel confident. There is no requirement to turn a kiss into a choreography routine.
